How to Adopt

The Brookhaven Animal Rescue League Adoption Center is located at 501 Northpark Dr. in Brookhaven. We're open with volunteers to assist you in choosing the perfect pet on:

Monday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday - Thursday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Directions to the adoption center:

Take I-55 to Brookhaven Exit 42. If coming from Jackson, turn left from exit. If coming from McComb, turn right from exit. Go approximately ½ mile to first road (Industrial Park Road), take left. Follow Industrial Park Road though 2 traffic lights. Drive over new bridge that is over railroad tracks. Drive past small baseball field on left. Turn left onto North Park Drive (just before Delphi – if you pass Delphi you’ve gone too far). Adoption Center is on the right.

Ready to adopt.
All animals are up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and spayed or neutered. All our dogs have permanent microchip identification and are on monthly heartworm preventative. All animals adopted through BARL are eligible for FREE pet health insurance. When a new animal arrives at the BARL Adoption Center, our intake costs are $80 to $100. We ask an adoption fee of only $50 for dogs and $40 for cats to help cover these costs.
