The first annual Copiah County Dog Show turned out to be a truly fun event. We all had a good time at beautiful Chautauqua Park, and the dog show was GREAT FUN! If you missed it, we had 8 silly categories, some hilarious entries and wonderful prizes. We had some terrific vendors, all of whom want to be invited back again next year (it will be in April).

Patrick Porter did a wonderful job, as always, doing the live radio feed, but he also served as a judge, helped us move things, and more. We adopted out one dog, garnered a few new family memberships, and sold merchandise.

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped. It took a lot of folks a lot of work to pull it off this year. but by next year, we'll have a Copiah County BARL Event Committee to make it bigger and better, and we'll do it when it's cooler.

If you missed the event, you missed a great opportunity for an inexpensive family event, filled with animal people with great spirit, and an entertaining show in a gorgeous setting. Hope to see you there next year.
