| If you missed BARL’s May
2 Copiah County Adoption Day in Crystal Springs, you missed a really delightful
day. The weather was perfect for the dogs (and volunteers) to enjoy socializing
with the animal-loving folks in Copiah. Six lucky dogs were adopted that
day, including one by the Mayor of Crystal Springs and his family!
BARL has been invited to make this an annual event at the same location in Railroad Park on the first Saturday of each May. Of course, we graciously accepted the invitation. We would like to express our gratitude to Sally Garland, Director of Parks and Recreation in Crystal Springs, for helping to make this event a memorable one for all the BARL animals and volunteers.
